Flights & Transfers

Following the launch of various budget airlines such as Whizzair, Jet2 and SkyEurope you can now fly to Budapest from as little as £40 return and traditional airlines like British Airways also offer good deals starting from £69 including taxes.

The flying time from London to Budapest Airport is two and a half hours, where a representative of our company will wait for you and transfer you to your hotel in Szeged. After your treatment, we will arrange for your transfer back to the airport or to Budapest, should you wish to spend a couple of days there.

Driving

The route from London to Budapest goes via Brussels, Frankfurt, Nurenberg, Linz and Vienna. It is compulsory to buy a vignette or toll sticker in Austria and Hungary. The distance is approximately 1750 kilometres, and the travel time is 17-18 hours. Gyor is 50 kilometres beyond the Austrian border and 120 kilometres before Budapest.

Coach

Direct buses depart from London Victoria Coach Station to Budapest several times a week. These run on the above mentioned route, with travel time at 26-28 hours. The price of a return ticket is between ü80 and 120 depending on the time of the reservation.

: If you travel by coach or plane, we will provide transfers from the airports (Ferihegy 1 or Ferihegy 2) or coach station (Nepliget) to Szeged and back.
