Services
Customers are individuals that use or have used or enquire/enquired about Smile Dent's services.
The price initially quoted by Smile-Dent is based on the information provided the customer. A final price and treatment plan will be confirmed after undergoing a consultation by a Smile Dent professional.
If the customer supplies Smile-Dent with an OPT X-ray, Smile-Dent will arrange for a treatment plan and prices to be sent to the customer. Smile-Dent strongly encourages you to ask all the questions you may have at this stage or at any other stage. Both you and the medical professional are under no obligation to proceed with treatment until we receive your written confirmation of acceptance of the treatment plan.
Smile-Dent reminds you that all kinds of medical treatment carry certain risks, whereas the risks associated with cosmetic surgery and cosmetic dentistry includes dissatisfaction with the results.
You and the medical professional have to agree about the anticipated outcome of your surgery/treatment, so that your expectations of the results will be reasonable.
Quotation
The quotation given is to be confirmed after the pre-surgery/pre-treatment consultation.
The quotation includes only the details stipulated in it. If any non-predicted costs appear once you are in the country where Smile-Dent provides health service, they will be properly detailed in order to obtain your authorization before payment.
Before the surgery, you should sign an authorization of payment for any exceptional non-predicted costs. Regardless, you will be properly informed about those risks before the surgery.
The medical quotation does not include:
- Any additional medical expenses for the medications or procedures in case of unforeseen complications. Make sure you discuss this with the dentist before the medical procedure begins.
- Insurance
The hotel rates Smile-Dent provides on its website are for guidance purposes only. Clients should not call the hotel in question directly, as these lower room rates are not available directly from the hotel.
Payment Terms
Payments can be made in the following ways:
Bank deposit into a Hungarian bank account nominated by Smile-Dent (proof of cleared funds required before treatment begins). Cash at the end of the treatment.
Cancellation Policy
Either parties can cancel a proposed treatment plan before the client accepts the proposed treatment. Cancellations can be done in writing via fax, email or recorded post.
Once treatment has started, the customer is responsible for full payment of dental costs.
In case of a hotel booking made by Smile-Dent, the customer is aware that Smile-Dent only acts as an intermediary between the customer and the hotel. The customer is responsible for any hotel cancellation fees.

Discrepancies
In case of medical discrepancy or conflict for imputed malpractice carried out on the patient, the parts establish and agree that all judicial action must be carried out by the patient towards the medical professional and/or medical clinic within the jurisdiction of the local Court responsible and that action will not be extended towards the UK representative of Smile-Dent, since he/she puts at the disposition of the patient different professional options without exercising medicine professionally.
